Hot-Shot® introduces its latest non-electric animal handling product, the 30” SORTING FLAG. Designed with assistance from industry leaders in livestock management, the SORTING FLAG is a simple and effective new tool for handling hogs and cattle.

The flag acts as a visual barrier, helping handlers to direct and guide animals in and out of barns, alleyways, and trucks. Its size (31” x 30”) provides handlers with a virtual ’wall’, and combined with the black color flag material provides an effective guiding tool. By blocking an animal's line of sight, or gently working the flag over the back, sides, and rear of the animals, the SORTING FLAG allows handlers to efficiently and quietly get their job done.

The SORTING FLAG is lightweight and made of industrial strength materials. The handle is constructed of strong fiberglass, and is hollow to reduce weight. The flag material is a tough rubberized vinyl that can handle the tough environments of hog and cattle producers and processors.

In addition, the SORTING FLAG has a cutout handle in the middle of the flag (see diagram) that easily accommodates large hand sizes - even if wearing gloves.
